I saw this video last night and I could not even blog about it because it was too painful for me to watch. And even more painful for me to know that she won. It was like watching a Filipino version of that Miss South Carolina Teen USA disaster.
But guess what, Janina San Miguel's infamous pageant interview is now circulating the Hollywood blogs! She is going to outshine Miss Keys Me!

hi, i am from pinoyblogs. i also watched the pageant night sa gma 7, and everybody in our community was discussing that until the wee hours of the morning. may mga ring tone na ung mga kasamahan ko dito...
hey sam! kookie here :) i had the same reaction when i first watched the video but now i'm totally rooting for her.
apparently, she grew up in a squatter's area, went to public school. since her parents could not afford to send her to school (the dad is a jeepney driver and the mom a labandera), she's been joining pageants and fashion shows to support herself. and she's just 17, in her own words :)
i agree kookie! her realness is awesome!
